It is not cancer or HIV itself seems to ask is whether there is a connection between shingles and other diseases .... and there, in the sense comprimised immune system .... Increased comprimised or a weakened immune system become more important recently due to environmental toxins, food additives, such as hormones, ... All this leads to problems with the thyroid and the thyroid gland to increase the impact of hormones, especially the other, and the immune system ... is of epidemic proportions throughout the world ....
There are also millions of people who do not know that they are allergic to gluten and other food allergies ... It also weakens the immune system ...
So yes, in this sense there is a connection.

Herpes zoster is the virus that causes chicken pox (both forms of the herpes virus). Once you have had chickenpox, the virus lies dormant in the body, until for some reason, the virus infects and delivers the nerves. It usually affects older people but can be observed in younger patients. My 15-year-old girl had a case of Benin in the same year. It is now quite well. Shingles is not contagious, but can chickenpox to someone who has no immunity, which are either already been achieved by vaccination or transmit. I've personally never heard of any connection between herpes and cancer or HIV, but I'm not a doctor nor s can only be what I know to go.
