I have a door-through-the-wall air conditioner heat anymore. I think the compressor is bad.
Is it better to repair the device or to purchase a replacement product?

Call an HVAC with a representative of the property. Making in small units or as "agitators" from the window usually cheaper and more efficient to replace the device as a whole.

You have an HVAC tech to check. It is possible that this is what is wrong, a relay, a condenser, valve, or the load is low. All these possibilities should be compensated.
